School’s Out, Hiring Season Is About to Begin πŸ‡»πŸ‡³

School’s Out, Hiring Season Is About to Begin πŸ‡»πŸ‡³

Every year people think the same thing. School year ends, things slow down.

That’s not how Vietnam works.

School’s out is when everything starts moving again.

Summer comes in and suddenly you’ve got summer programs, language centers, and short term contracts opening up everywhere. This is how a lot of people get in. You land, pick up hours, meet the right people, and start understanding how things actually work on the ground.

But this year feels different.

I’m already seeing recruiters talking about September hires.

That’s early.

Usually nothing gets done until the last minute. Schools wait, delay, then panic hire when they realize they’re short. That’s just how it goes here. But right now, things are moving ahead of schedule.

That tells you everything you need to know.

Demand hasn’t gone anywhere. If anything, it’s bigger.

And despite all the talk about new rules and crackdowns, the reality on the ground is still the reality.

Recruiters are still hiring.
Schools still need teachers.
People without degrees are still being considered.

If you’ve got a degree, you’re in a strong position right now. This is where you can actually get a good offer instead of whatever is left when everyone else rushes in later.

If you don’t have a degree, it doesn’t mean you’re out. It just means you need to understand how the game is played. Some routes are tighter, some options look different, but as of right now we’re still helping people make it happen.

Here’s where people get burned.

This industry is full of people trying to make money off you.

Overpriced TEFL courses that don’t matter.
Placement programs that dump you into random schools.
Recruiters telling you what you want to hear just to fill a spot.

You end up paying just to get thrown into something you could have found yourself, or worse, something you shouldn’t have taken.

That’s not what we do.

At Reborn Abroad, we’re not selling you a certificate or throwing you into a random job.

We plug you into an existing network.

A real HR network built from years of being on the ground in Vietnam, dealing with schools, recruiters, visa agents, and everything else that people only figure out after they arrive.

We’re cheaper than most classroom TEFL courses, and instead of theory, you get access.

Access to real recruiters.
Access to real schools.
Access to real opportunities.

We help you understand how things actually work, help you navigate offers and contracts, and connect you with the right people based on your situation.

We also help you get set up when you land. Visa agents, service providers, local fixers. The stuff people don’t think about until it’s already a problem.

If you’re a native English speaker, or a non native from Europe, degree or no degree, there are opportunities out there right now.

The difference is whether you go in blind or whether you have people behind you who know what they’re doing.

And here’s the part a lot of people miss.

If you come out for the summer, you’re already in country when the real hiring wave hits.

End of August, beginning of September, that’s when schools go into full panic mode trying to staff up for the new term.

If you’re already on the ground at that point, you’re in a completely different position than someone applying from overseas.

You can: Meet schools in person
Pick up demo classes quickly
Move fast when offers come in
And choose better options instead of taking whatever is left

Being in country during that window gives you leverage. It’s one of the simplest advantages you can have, and most people don’t use it.

And let’s be honest.

Teaching in Vietnam isn’t perfect.

You might be commuting across the city.
You might be dealing with schools that don’t have AC.
You might be navigating traffic, pollution, and schedules that change.

Some jobs are easy. Some are not.

That’s just how it is.

But what it can give you, if you use it right, is time.

You’re not working nonstop. You’ve got space in your schedule. And if you use that time properly, you can build something for yourself.

That’s what I did.

While teaching in public schools, I used that time to build what eventually became Reborn Abroad. Now I’m fully location independent.

That didn’t happen by accident. It happened because I used the opportunity.

So yeah, school’s out.

But this is when hiring starts building.

And this year it’s starting earlier than usual.

If you move now, you get ahead of the rush, you get better options, and you can lock something in before things get chaotic.

If you wait, you’re stepping into the same last minute scramble as everyone else.
