π¨ AFRICAN MAN ACCUSED OF HARASSING WOMEN ON MOTORBIKES IN VIETNAM π»π³
Another safety alert out of Vietnam. Multiple Vietnamese women are warning each other online about an African foreigner (Surprise! Surprise!) targeting women riding alone on motorbikes.
Reports claim he cuts them off or blocks their path, then hands over a paper with a Zalo QR code and a hotel invitation. Rejection allegedly triggers aggression: yelling threats, pulling a stick on interveners, and in one case physically assaulting a woman — scratches on her shoulder, earphones ripped away.
These are circulating social media allegations, not yet a verified court case. But the consistent pattern makes it a credible heads-up. Women should take it seriously.
Practical advice for women riding solo:
- Don’t stop or engage if some random blocks your bike.
- Maintain distance, head to a crowded spot, draw attention.
- Contact authorities if it escalates. Never play hero vs. someone unhinged or armed.
To foreigners (especially those who keep pushing it): Vietnam isn’t your playground. Hospitality isn’t an invitation to treat local women like street game. Blocking bikes, aggressive solicitation, and flipping to violence when told no is straight-up unacceptable. It’s not “cultural differences” — it’s low impulse control and disrespect.
This behavior from certain groups tracks with observable patterns of street harassment in multiple countries with high African migrant/visitor numbers. Crime stats and repeated incidents aren’t “racism” — they’re data. The photos and videos make it clear who’s involved here.
Vietnam should protect its streets and women. Identify this guy, arrest him if the claims hold, and deport. Guests who act like this get removed — no excuses.
Stay vigilant. Brush your teeth.
