“Swiss” Passport Forger Arrested at Don Mueang Airport πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡

Immigration officers arrested a so-called “Swiss” national at Don Mueang Airport for forging and possessing a fake passport.

The bust happened at 2.45pm on 30 July in the international departures hall on the third floor of Terminal 2.

He’s facing charges of jointly forging and using (or possessing for use) a forged passport. Already handed over to investigators at Immigration Division 2.

Thailand’s airports are regular hotspots for document fraud. One arrest often means multiple counts — forging, using, and possessing with intent all stack up under Thai law.

Let’s be honest: this guy is almost certainly not Swiss. South Asian origin is far more likely. Yet the reports still slap the “Swiss” label on him. That quiet hypocrisy paints real Europeans as the problem while the actual passport holder is usually someone else entirely. It reflects badly on the Swiss and every legitimate expat just trying to live abroad without the side-eye.
