Vietnamese police dismantled a ring charging up to VNĐ900 million (US$35,000) per person to arrange illegal work in the UK. They used counterfeit Irish visas stuck directly into Vietnamese passports.

Three people were stopped at TΓ’n SΖ‘n NhαΊ₯t Airport, heading to Singapore with the fakes. The plan was to reach the UK for illegal work.

Why Irish visas? Ireland and the UK share the Common Travel Area. Once someone gets into Ireland (or near it), the open border and lighter checks make it far easier to cross into the UK without facing full British border control. The fake Irish visa is the key that gets them out of Vietnam and into that system.

Vietnam is actively catching this fraud and stopping people leaving with forged documents aimed at the UK.

Meanwhile, the UK still struggles with irregular arrivals, fraudulent routes, and eroded public trust — while protesters who raise concerns about the scale of migration face arrests.

The irony is sharp: Vietnam is doing more to stop illegal immigration than the UK’s own government.

The UK is a joke of a country. I pray the patriots can take their country back. Vietnam takes this seriously; it's shame the UK government does not.
